This is a fragment from the upper part of a lead-glazed earthenware jug. It has an ovoid body, loop handle, cylindrical neck flaring out towards rim and pouring spout. It is thrown on the wheel and has a pulled handle with an applied spout. The design on the jug comprises vertical ribs on the body; diamond pattern with impressed circlets on neck; the exterior is green-glazed. The impressed circlets were produced with a tool.
