Physical description
'A Thorough-Bred One Falling at his Fence'. A dark-coloured horse falling on landing after coming over a fence, its male rider deposited on the ground before it. The rider holds a whip in his hand and his top hat has fallen off behind him. In the distance two other horses and riders can be seen continuing on their way.
