Inscriptions state that the ladle was given by her to the Don Cossack Timothy Turaberin on March 31st, 1735. M.37-1949 Varley Bequest(Pre-2000)
  • Silver Gallery: The heads of independent Cossack communities were awarded presentation kovshi for demonstrating allegiance to the Russian Empire. The inscription states that this kovsh was given by Empress Anne (1730-40) to then Don Cossack Timothy Turaberin on March 31st, 1735. Her portrait is engraved inside the bowl.(26/11/2002)
