This is a relief made by Peter Rouw in England in 1818. The relief is in tinted wax and representing the princess Charlotte of Wales, the daughter of Geroge IV. A version of this posthumous portrait was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1818.

Peter Rouw (1771-1852) was a successful wax modeller, who specialised in portrait waxes. He was also appointed modeller of gems and cameos to His Royal Highness the Prince Regent.
