A wooden figure of a clown, painted red with a white belt, red and white ruff, orange boots and gold "pom poms" on jacket and hat. The nose is wooden and the facial features are painted The moveable arms are attached by a metal rod. Attached to the right hand is a string with a pearl at the end which swings to strike a metal bell mounted on a circular, yellow and blue painted block. The whole is mounted on a wooden platform painted green with one red pulling cord attached at the front. There is a hole between the clown's feet which suggests that the metal axle should be attached to a metal rod supporting the arms so that the bell rings as the wheels turn.
