Handkerchief of needle lace worked in linen thread. Small square with a broad border. In the centre of each side is a vertical line of formal scrolling motifs from which spring delicate scrolling stems bearing formal flowers and leaves which fill the rest of the border. The border is edged with a series of little round motifs hanging from a line of tiny round spots.

Handkerchief of needle lace worked in linen thread. Small square with a broad border.
