This riding hat is from an important collection of riding outfits and accessories previously in Castle Howard, Yorkshire. The collection also includes a blue woollen jacket, an apron skirt, breeches, boots, cravats, gloves and various accessories. These are all items a fashionable woman would have worn in the 1920s for riding.
