This statuette is an allegorical figure of Peace and is made in the style of Tiziano Aspetti in Venice possibly in the 18th century. Peace is represented holding an inverted torch.
Tiziano Aspetti (ca. 1559-1606) was a gifted sculptor in working bronze. He was the leading sculptor in Venice after Girolamo Campagna at the end of the 16th century.
