Marks and inscriptions
Bears false monogram at lower right, in brown ink, HG (in ligature), which may have replaced a lost genuine monogram on the missing lower right corner.
Object history
Provenance: Miss Emily Dalton (1816/17–1900), Leicester, by whom bequeathed to the museum (NAL dry stamp on recto and Dalton Bequest purple ink stamp on verso of lining; neither in Lugt), 1900.
