This relief representing the Agony in the Garden was probably made in the late 15th century South Germany. This is thick and convex, and the figures are deeply cut.

Physical description

Three apostles are asleep on the right, their heads resting on their hands. On the left a larger (3/4 length) figure of Christ praying; above an angel appears to him. In the background there are hills and trees.
