Circular relief in mother of pearl in a carved wood frame. Signed 'JOHANNES / GAULETTE / FECIT'. Alexander in armour is driving his chariot surrounded by rioting soldiers and the cowering population. In the background elaborate architecture; at the foot a trophy of arms.
