La Parthenon (French)
Object history
'La Parthenon' has not yet been identified. It seems unlikely to be a manufacturer, more probably a retailer or agent, possibly even a restaurant.

The design for this service was commissioned by 'La Maison Moderne', rue de la Paix and rue des Petits Champs, Paris, in about 1900. Services are known with La Maison Moderne's own backstamp.

Service consists of coffee pot and cover, sugar bowl and cover, cream jug, six cups and saucers.
