Physical description
Group in bronze, arranged as an inkstand. St Jerome (or Mark), in rough flowing drapery, is seated on a tree-stump, taking a thorn out of the foot of the lion on the ground beside him. On an oval base, at the end of which stands an urn to contain ink.
