A woman's earring (one from a pair) of the type worn in eastern Tibet. It is copper alloy, and embellished with coral and imitation turquoise. Purchased in Yushu, China, but made by Chinese goldsmiths in Yunnan, it was made for export into the Tibetan cultural area.
