One of a sequence of casts showing stages in the making of a brooch by Trifari, a leading manufacturer of costume jewellery in Providence, Rhode Island.

This stage shows the brooch after it has been partly gold-plated, and the orange masking paint has been removed to reveal the rhodium-plated areas.
