Production | 1880 Slip Book states that a cotton piece? scarf was received in Arracan in 1855. Very similar to 05553 (IS) - also a head cloth from Arracan. The two registerred with this number maybe hko-peu-ki (Karen men's headcloths) or from a sub-group of the Chin people. Both Karen and Chin people inhabit areas of Arracan (Arakan). |
