Production
1880 Slip Book states that this garment was received from Arracan [Rakhine State] in 1855. Tribe needs to be identified. Comment by David W. Fraser of The Textile Museum of Washington D.C. (2003) is that it is "Not immediately Chin - possibly Naga".
