stonepaste painted in underglaze blue with a square imitation Chinese mark in blue. It has a lightly bracked upturned rim. Both flange and well are possibly incised with a series of contiguous lappels. A lobed Kraak frame encloses the centre. A half of a vase has been painted on the right with a profuse flowering branch and roots stretching out from the left towards a series of rounded mounds with hatching and two T-marks. The rim of the vase is striped and the body is reserve-painted with a bird in flight amidst clouds. The outside is plain except for a reserved band of seven reciprocal half-flowers and s-scrolls above the base ring.
