Panel (a shield). The arms of France Ancient (azure semée of fleurs-de-lys or) impaling a shield, gules, a sword proper; the latter half of modern glass. The fleurs-de-lys reserved in yellow on a dark brown ground on lozenge-shaped pieces of glass. The charge on the modern glass executed by abrasion with painting in dark brown and silver-yellow.
