Plate of reddish fritware with decoration cut through a white slip, splashed with green, and the whole is covered with a yellow glaze. In the middle is a stylised Kufic inscription, translated as 'Victory, help', with arabesques in the outer spaces. Above this in a narrow border containing an inscription incised in outline. The flat rim has a border of chain pattern.
