Inscribed at the lower left: ‘POLIDORO INVNT.’; at the lower right: ‘Gio. Batta Galestruzzi fece.’ The number ‘2’ is placed in the upper right corner.
Object history
The frescoe by Polidoro da Caravaggio from which this etching derives is located above the second window from the left on the frieze between the first and second stories on the façade of the Palazzo Milesi, Rome.
