This teddy is a Hugmee bear. These type of bears usually have flattish faces and sharply pointed feet. Chiltern first introduced Hugmee bears in 1923 and they proved extremely popular. The company was well known for its high standards of quality and received the Certificate of the Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene.

Physical description
Pale brown mohair plush fully jointed teddy bear with velvet paw pads. The eyes are plastic and the nose, mouth and claws stitched with black wool. The pads on the feet are reinforced with card. There is a yellow ribbon and a card swing-tag around the neck.
