A tight fitting woman's sleeveless under bodice with a right hand front pocket. It is finely smocked in a criss-cross pattern and fastened in front with six mother-of-pearl buttons. The top of the back has an inset of floral and foliate patterned lacework and it is edged in eyelet lace along the neckline, under the arms, and over the shoulder straps.
