Formed from a rectangle of 2 lengths (L. 162.5 cm. x W. 52.1 cm) stitched along the selvage edges. The warp ends have then been seamed to form a tubular skirt. When worn the spare material is lapped over first to the man's right then to his left forming a double pleat.
