Weft patterning spaced into17.8 cm. design repeats of sun-kyo (wave patterns), gamoun (creeper) & nit lein kyo (two twisted stripes) in orange, yellow, green magenta, white and peach.
Warp patterning of broad green and orange stripes.
One end (L. 58.4 cm) finished in a broad peach and green plaid.

Object history
This, in all probability, was intended to form a man's pah-soe (wrap skirt). Such voluminous skirts continued to be worn into the 20th century on more formal occasions.
