A design for a girandole one half of which is coloured with blue, yellow and brown wash. The other half has been lightly sketched in pencil. The frame is curvaceous and leafy in form, at the bottom in the centre is a goat’s head from which husks hang. The frame is surmounted by a flat plinth of top of which stands a perfume burner out of which flames are protruding. Curvaceous candle holders have been incorporated into the frame however they remain uncoloured. The frame itself is yellow and the mirror-glass is blue.
