A design for an overmantel in two parts. The overmantel is composed from two different halves, either side of which hang wall brackets decorated with floral arrangements and ribbons. Both frames feature candle holders, chinoiserie-inspired birds and curvaceous ornamentation. The bottom of both frames are decorated with a gothic arch pattern however the design on the right features this more predominately. The bottom of the left features a floral festoon.
