Inspired by the opulent, large-scale millinery of the 1910s, this extravagant hat was part of John Boyd's "Ascot" collection. John Boyd designs for members of the Royal Family and, in 1981, made the Princess of Wales's famous "going-away" hat - a much-copied tricorne trimmed with ostrich feathers.
