Production | Claimed by the donor to have been taken from the altar of a Temple near Rangoon. C. Stanley-Clarke (assistant-keeper and keeper of the Indian Museum during the 1920's) thought it was a good example of thayo decorated Rangoon work of the early 19th century. |
