Labels and date

Martin Kidman's chunky hand-knits, featuring cherubs basking amidst golden trellis designs such as this with flowers and trailing garlands, were enormously influential. A dark-blue border pattern circle the cuffs and hem. Both designs were suggested by decorative china plates. [1997]
