Probst direxit Ein Modernes Mausoleum in einer besonderen Capelle mit zweyen Hieroglyphischen Corinthischen Denck-Säulen, und einem Obelisco, mit zierlicher Trauer Ordonnance, worunter sich ein in die Erde gemachtes Gewölbe befindet, darinnen der Sarg des verstorbenen stehet. C.P.S.C.M. Jer. Wolff exc. 2.
Translation
A modern mausoleum in a special chapel with two hieroglyphic Corinthian memorial columns and an obelisk, with delicate remembrance ordinance, under which a vault made in the ground is located, in which the casket of the deceased stands.
Object history
The V&A holds this suite as published by Johann Balthasar Probst. It was originally published by Jeremias Wolff, before 1724.
