Physical description
Black silk and viscose devoré velvet high-waisted and bias-cut evening dress with a gentle flare.
Gallery label
Jasper Conran is famed for his uncompromising use of black for both day and evening wear. This svelte, high-waisted, bias-cut dress flares gently to the hem. The black-on-black devoré design is in a powerful foliate pattern specially composed by Jasper Conran. Maximum effect is achieved by contrasting the matt black with the deeper black pile.(1997)
