A costume doll, identified by a label on the base as 'A belle of Haryana returning from the fields'. The doll's body is of cotton stuffed with kapok; she wears a skirt of printed cotton and a thin cotton veil (orhni). On her head is a bundle of wood-shavings, representing the crops she has gathered in the fields.
