The ballet dancer Tamara Karsavina is photographed sitting on a long bench in a garden. The bench is draped in a piece of fabric with a pink pillow behind the woman's back; she is seated in the middle of the bench and in her lap is a hand bag which is purple and white with a floral decoration. In the background are blooming flower bushes, including different shades of rose, and green ivy covering a brick wall.
