Collection of original designs for modern goldsmiths’ work, chiefly in the style of the Renaissance: cups, crucifixes, ecclesiastical ornaments, flagons, dishes, etc.; with drawings based on goldsmiths’ work of the Renaissance, particularly jewelled pendants, gold and enamelled mountings and ornaments. 1079 drawings and 1 print from the working library of R Vasters, Goldsmith, Aix-la-Chapelle (2nd half of the 19th century)
Only a small number of the drawings are signed: someby R Vasters; E.2570 by J Schmidt, E.2580 and E.2584 by H Schneider. Various sizes.

Collection of modern Swiss drawings of Goldsmiths’ work, jewellery, enamels etc. 1068 on 172 mounts (I am sugaring); with 3 attached and 9 loose drawings; & 2 process prints of elevations of St Peter’s church, Aix-la-Chapelle. Given by L M Lowenstein.
