Rag paper packet containing a plastic wallet with 10 woven silk cuttings. No selvages.

1) Cream weft and brown warp. Plain weave, with extended tabby (basket weave effect) broken by stripes, edged in black, of red and yellow chiné in twill.
2) Cream weft and warp. Plain weave, with extended tabby (basket weave effect) broken by stripes of yellow silk and tarnished (silver?) metallic thread on silk core (Z-wrapped), in turn broken by 4 rows of floating wefts of cream silk.
3) Cream ground. Plain weave, with ribbed effect broken by narrow bands of 2 browns and black silk forming narrow stripes in extended tabby weave.
4) Cream twill weave, broken by narrow stripes of cut velvet.
5) Cream plain weave, with ribbed appearance broken by single thread maroon silk warp forming stripes and wider bands of basket weave cream-gold, edged in maroon.
6) Cream plain weave, with ribbed appearance broken by stripes of basket weave in yellow cream interspersed with chiné maroon.
7) Cream plain weave, with ribbed appearance alternating with stripes of brown, green and white silk chiné. Slight Z-twist.
8) Cream plain weave, with ribbed appearance broken by stripes of green and cream chiné.
9) Cream plain weave, with extended tabby (basket weave effect) alternating with stripes of twill black and yellow silk, in turn broken by 4 threads of cream silk.
10) Cream basket weave, alternating with stripes of red and yellow chiné silk and tarnished silver metal S-wrapped on yellow silk core.
