Physical description

Collotype reproduction of a drawing of a naked woman resting her head on her knees. Seemingly in despair, spring flowers surround her, as well as a quote from theorist Michelet ("Comment se fait-il qu'il y ait sur la terre une femme seule-delaissee") which translates to "How can there be on earth a woman alone and neglected?"
