Physical description
Three-quarter length portrait miniature of Eileen Marshall, dated 1912, watercolour on ivory. The sitter is depicted in profile, with her face turned towards the front, looking fractionally off to the left of the viewer. She is wearing a lilac off-the-shoulder flounced and ruffled dress with a brooch at the front, a black lace shawl, and a small posy of flowers in her hair.
