Eileen Marshall is shown here in 1912. She was also the sitter for another miniature in the V&A. This is also by Nellie Hepburn-Edmunds, and is dated 1909 (P.22-1972).

Physical description

Three-quarter length portrait miniature of Eileen Marshall, dated 1912, watercolour on ivory. The sitter is depicted in profile, with her face turned towards the front, looking fractionally off to the left of the viewer. She is wearing a lilac and black off-the-shoulder dress with a brooch at the front and a small posy of flowers in her hair.
