Set of five choir boys, turned and painted wood on a round base. One boy carries a star on a post in his right hand and a lantern in his left. Three boys carry hymn books and the last nothing (but should have a book). All the figures have wide brimmed hats, cloak shaped bodies and a single stump for legs; the head is round. Except for the head and fists which are painted pink, the rest of the figures are black. The round base is natural wood. The facial features are painted in red and black; the books, lantern and star are painted gold.

Historical context
The choristers lead a candle and lantern procession to the octagonal church of Seiffen on Christmas Eve. These figures together with the church and buildings are often sold as sets to show this event.
