Batta. Franco Venetiano. va in stampa' Red ink and red chalk 6 x 12 1/2 (152 x 318) 8638 D The hand does not appear to be Franco's, nor, notwithstanding Padre Resta's statement, has an engraving after Franco corresponding with the drawing been found. The semi-circle of angels may have formed part of a larger composition or may have been intended to decorate a dome or semi-dome.
