Flat silver drop-shaped plaque. The plaque is made from sheet silver stamped on each side with a six-sided star formed from two superimposed triangles, with Arabic inscriptions in the centre, the space between the points, and in a border round the outside of the central circle.
Some damage to the outside edge and corrosion.

Physical description
Flat silver drop-shaped plaque. The plaque is made from sheet silver stamped on each side with a six-sided star formed from two superimposed triangles, with Arabic inscriptions in the centre, the space between the points, and in a border round the outside of the central circle.
Some damage to the outside edge and corrosion.

Accessions register entry: 'Amulet ("Kamarah") for a woman's head-dress, of silver-gilt stamped with sacred inscriptions in Arabic. / A flat circular plate with pointed projection above, is formed of two sheets of foil each stamped with the same pattern - a circular panel of inscription arranged as a Solomon's Seal, enclosed in a circular band of inscription with corded borders. There is a twisted wire edging. / Modern Egyptian / 2 15/16 in. by 2 5/8 in.'
