Object history
The rain spout is said to have come from Bramhall, Cheshire. This connection is explained in Lawrence Weaver, 'English leadwork, its art and history' 1909 who believed it to be from a cottage in Bramhall, Cheshire although it may have been re-used from a grander house. There is no proven connection with Bramhall, Cheshire.
