Pair of wide silver bracelets, each hinged in two unequal parts and fastened with a screw fastening opening clockwise. Each is decorated with a central band of an applied meander surrounded by granule discs and triangles. There is a rim of bands of twisted, beaded and gallery wire on either side of the central band.

Physical description
Pair of wide silver bracelets, each hinged in two unequal parts and fastened with a screw fastening opening clockwise. Each is decorated with a central band of an applied meander surrounded by granule discs and triangles. There is a rim of bands of twisted, beaded and gallery wire on either side of the central band.

Accessions register entry: 'Pair of bracelets of silver, with filigree and other decoration applied. / Each consists of a broad band decorated with a serpentine, rosettes amd triangles, enclosed between borders of filigree, pearled and corded work. One third of the circumference opens on a hinge and is fastened with a screwed pin. / North African? / Each diam. 2 1/2 in., W. 1 3/4 in. Hinged wide bracelets with decoration on outer surface.'
