Double page portrait format engraving in black and white, depicting the interior wall of the burial chamber of the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, and fragments of frescoes on the wall. The frescoes are decorated with candelabras, a vase, and a priestess playing the tibia (an ancient wind instrument, known in Greek as an aulos). The features of the engraving are lettered, with a key in Italian below.

Physical description
