Physical description

Double page landscape format engraving in black and white, depicting objects and fragments of decoration from the tomb of Caecilia Metella, lettered with a key in Italian below. The objects include a large marble cinerary urn decorated with horses' heads and containing a vase for cremated remains, and a frieze decorated with scrolling foliage, lions and deer.
