Object history
The Second French Revolution took place between July 27 and July 29 1830. King Charles X (Bourbon Monarch) was overthrown and replaced by his cousin, Louis Philippe, Prince of Orleans. The population became split between supporting the Legitimists, or the Orleanists. This revolution created a constitutional monarchy, and also resulted in unrest in neighbouring countries, resulting in the separation of Belgium and the Netherlands.
