Saucer painted in black beneath a green wash with a landscape with figures and classical ruins, including a pyramid on which the words Owen Rowe O'Neale can be distinguished. The rim has traces of a gilt dentil pattern; the underside is plain white.
The inscription says Owen Rowe O'Neale and was probably introduced as a means of concealing the signature of J. H. O'Neale.
