Stemcup in the form of a shallow bowl with a broad, canted rim, standing on a hollow, bell-shaped foot; inside is painted a scene with a European youth holding a bird and a girl opening a bird-cage, with some use of rose-pink enamel; round the rim is a border of linked half-rosettes in red, green and gold, which is repeated on the outside; landscapes with rocks and plants are painted round the outside of the bowl and the foot.
