Place of origin

Flat base, low, slanting sides slightly waisted half-way up, and a flat everted rim.
On the rim, six cartouches with double fillets and incurving sides, enclose sections of the epigraphic frieze. These are spaced by six roundels which enclose bi-focating stalks.
The engraved decoration of the base features a circular band of intersecting arches with buds at the interces. Next is a moulded groove and another circular band inlaid with copper, enclosing a woman-headed, winged lioness on a foliate scrolling ground. The tail curves over the back.
On the underside, four concentric double fillets have been engraved. At the centre a small roundel has been re-engraved.
The outer side has six epigraphic sections and roundels matching the pattern on the flat rim.
